Sungard offer 527 different products for the financial sector. Their approach to competition in recent years has very much focused on total absorption, giving them a wide range of products offered. Some of those products, notably those listed above, continue to require experienced consultants globally for their support and development.
Front arena offers a unique trading solution across multiple asset classes, and, of course, the ever-vital STP, while Adaptiv has proved popular as it offers a credit and market risk management solution that is FSA approved, leading to rapid implementations without the need to await FSA approval.
Martini and Global One, which both perform repo trading, are expected to merge into Martini Global One, while some of the older systems, such as Infinity and Devon, which were renamed Panorama, continue to be used widely, but often without much attention from hirers.
